Secretary General - Prasanna Kakileti

Prasanna Kakileti, our Secretary General, is passionate about Mathematics and Chemistry. Her interest in MUN began with her enjoyment of debating, and her very first experience captivated her with its procedures and flow. The opportunity to debate about real global issues acting as a diplomat truly hooked her. Prasanna boasts extensive leadership experience, having been Head of USG Design (Secretariat) for two consecutive years, and serving in the student prefect council as School Captain, School Vice Captain, and House Captain, in addition to being a TEDx speaker. Her key strengths and interests outside academics include public speaking and debating. She brings unique skills in strategic planning and organization, crisis handling, adaptability, and presence. Her leadership style involves adapting and innovating ideas to create and execute a strategic plan by guiding and handling crises that arise in the organization of the event. Prasanna's guiding quote is: "In the midst of chaos, there is also opportunity." Her vision for this MUN is to make it a larger-scale event where every delegate gets an opportunity to voice out and innovate ideas.

Director General - Yashitha Bhavani

Yashitha, our Director General, has strong academic interests in Computer Science, Maths, and Hindi. Her interest in MUN was sparked by the need to be a good speaker and gain diplomatic skills. She has an Honourable Mention in UNODC and has been an EMCEE for several school events. Beyond academics, Yashitha enjoys writing, reading, dancing, and singing. She brings essential skills in team management, crisis handling, coordination, and time management to her role. She describes her leadership style as being a responsible candidate who has clear thoughts and can solve disputes quickly and give good feedback regarding the works by thinking quickly with good ideas. Her motivating motto is: "All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them." Yashitha's vision for this MUN is to make it the best out of all the other editions by having more delegates, new committees and various things that are new.

USG Delegate Affairs - Siri Sahasra Dara

Siri, our USG Delegate Affairs, is passionate about maths and physics. Her interest in law, political sciences, and global affairs drew her to MUN. She boasts significant MUN achievements, including "highest commendations and several mentions ." Beyond her academic pursuits, Siri enjoys public speaking and cultural activities like music and classical dance. Her unique skill is the ability to "stay calm in crisis" and think things out instead of creating chaos. She describes her leadership style as ensuring that "every voice is valued by listening deeply and guiding wisely." Her belief is powerfully summarized by her quote: "I believe ability may get you to the top, but it takes character to keep you there."

USG Delegate Affairs - Hansi Nuthalapati

Hansi is someone who enjoys understanding different perspectives and observing the world with curiosity. With a balanced personality and a mix of logic and creativity, she finds joy in both academic interests like Mathematics and Chemistry, and personal passions like theatre and badminton. She has been part of the prefect council and multiple stage plays, which shaped her collaborative and open leadership style. Her interest in MUN began with a love for meeting new people, and with four MUNs behind her, she values clear communication and support for all delegates. A unique skill she brings is her ability to understand and respond to people's needs with empathy and clarity. USG Delegate Affairs - Hasanthi Achanta

Hasanthi, our USG Delegate Affairs, enjoys maths and physics as she loves figuring out how things work and solving problems. Her interest in MUN was sparked by her love for debating and having meaningful conversations about global issues that actually matter, and the fascination of stepping into the shoes of a country and thinking from their perspective. With five MUN experiences and multiple recognitions, along with two years as a student council member, Hasanthi brings significant leadership and MUN experience. Beyond academics, she finds joy in playing badminton, singing, dancing, debating, and watching movies. Her unique trait is her ability to stay calm and think clearly when things go off track, focusing on practical solutions. Her leadership is rooted in honesty, clear communication, and runs on the belief that everyone’s opinion is important, emphasizing listening, supporting, and growing with her team. She lives by Peter Drucker's quote: “The best way to predict the future is to create it.” Hasanthi's vision for this MUN is to make it bigger and better than our previous editions, ensuring every delegate feels valued and excited.

USG Policy - Sloka Garikipati

Sloka, our USG Policy, is passionate about English, French, and Biology. Her interest in MUN began with curiosity, which quickly evolved into admiration for the event after attending her first conference. She brings four MUN experiences and a special mention to her role. Outside of her academic pursuits, Sloka enjoys sports, writing, and reading. Her unique skills include a strong sense of structure combined with her ability to coordinate and work flexibly, as well as the ability to write complex ideas in understandable and concise writing. She describes her leadership style as leading with coordination and communication by ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and working with her teammates. Sloka's guiding philosophy is reflected in Rumi's quote: "Raise your words, not your voice. It is rain that grows flowers, not thunder." Her vision for this MUN is to contribute to it in a way where delegates feel both challenged and supported by AWS and make the 03rd Edition the best one yet!

USG Policy - Krivi Salla

Krivi, our USG Policy, has academic interests in Biology and English. He learned about MUN through promotional campaigns for AWS VJA MUN's First Edition, joining out of curiosity and a desire for new experiences. He has experience as the delegate of Australia and the delegate of China, where he showcased his potential. Beyond academics, Krivi enjoys nature, zoology, literature, sketching, and writing. He brings strong writing skills to his role. While acknowledging he may not have the most experience or the strongest skills, he assures that he has the greatest passion for his work. Krivi's motto, "Write like it matters, and it will," reflects his dedication. He is hopeful beyond words to see this edition be the best one yet.

USG Design - Likhitha Maradani

Likhitha, our USG Design, finds her core academic interests in Arts and Biology. She was drawn to MUN as a platform to showcase talents, improve skills in debates and many more. Her leadership experience includes being a Cultural Captain in the Prefect Council and winning 20 medals/certificates for art competitions, along with a TEDed experience. Outside of academics, Likhitha is a skilled calligrapher and artist, bringing her designing expertise to this role. Her leadership style focuses on building strong relationships with team members and creating a collaborative and supportive work environment. Her guiding principle is: "Always be yourself, express yourself, have faith in yourself, do not go out and look for a successful personality." Likhitha aspires for this MUN to be a successful one.

USG Design - Madhulika Bera

Madhulika, our USG Design, is passionate about Languages and Science. Her interest in debating led her to MUN, where she values the entire process of drafting a resolution and also having fun. This is her sixth MUN, and her first time as a part of the Secretariat, having participated in five previous MUNs. Beyond her academic pursuits, Madhulika enjoys painting (arts), public speaking, and travelling. She excels in designing and is adept at managing a team, assigning tasks, and handling crises. Her leadership style is a balance of being very carefree and strict at the same time to ensure better progress. Her vision for design at this MUN is profound: "For me, design at AWSMUN isn’t just about making things look good, it’s about making people feel something before a single speech begins." She aims to infuse heart and hard work into every design to make this MUN a memorable part of her school life.

USG Public Relations - Anjani Sanvi Anguluri

Anjani, our USG PR, is academically interested in Biology and Chemistry. MUN became a path for her to improve her communication skills, and experiencing it once made her fall in love with the event. She has received an honorable mention and a special mention in past MUNs. Outside of academics, Anjani loves to sing and spend time with her loved ones. She brings unique skills in well-organized social media posts and strong relations with delegates. Her leadership style is described as a composed way with a hint of fun added to it. Anjani is driven by two powerful mottos: "Teamwork makes the Dreamwork" and "most importantly whatever your goal, you can get there if you're willing to work." Her vision is to make this MUN an outstanding one where everyone feels included and enjoys.

USG Marketing - Navitha Pothireddy

Navitha, our USG Marketing, has a core academic interest in Mathematics. She was drawn to MUN by her interest in global issues, public speaking, and diplomacy, seeing it as a platform to learn, debate, and collaborate on real-world challenges. While she may not have formal achievements yet, she is deeply interested in learning, collaborating, and growing through MUN, describing herself as motivated, hardworking, and ready for new challenges. USG Marketing - Harvi Kantamaneni

Harvi, our USG Marketing, finds her core academic interests in Physics, Economics, Chemistry, and Fashion designing/styling. Her journey into MUN was sparked by a curiosity to explore and learn new things, valuing the lessons learned in communication and public speaking from each experience. This marks her first time in a Secretariat role, though she has two prior MUN experiences and has participated in various drama, dance, and music performances. Outside of academics, Harvi enjoys dancing, playing badminton, styling outfits, listening to music, and shopping. She brings the crucial skills of remaining calm and team management to her role. Her leadership style is collaborative and democratic, providing support, guidance, motivation throughout and empowering her team members to bring out the best in them, prioritizing open communication and inclusivity. Harvi lives by Theodore Roosevelt's empowering quote: "Believe you can and you're halfway there." She's thrilled to serve, envisioning this MUN as the greatest where every individual learns and enjoys.

USG Tech - Tanav Ram Gadde

Tanav, our USG Tech, has core academic interests in Biology and Physics. His interest in MUN was sparked by simply hearing about people's past experience at MUN, which seemed interesting to him. He lists his hobbies as tech, basketball, and football. Tanav brings crucial skills in crisis handling and tech skills to the Secretariat. His leadership style is to collaborate and divide the work for better workflow and clarity.

Kushal's academic pursuits in Computer Science and Biology fuel his passion for diplomacy and enhanced speaking skills, which originally sparked his interest in Model United Nations. His background in leadership, combined with a love for playing games, robotics, and badminton, provides a unique skill set. As a USG Tech, he brings vast knowledge of coding to the team. Kushal describes his leadership style as "Responsible stress handling." He believes in the motto, "History is written by successors not inactionists," a quote that reflects his proactive and determined personality.

Head of OC - Rajeev Nethula

Rajeev, our OC Head, has a strong academic interest in English, specifically literature. Inspired by his seniors, he entered the world of MUN and has four MUN experiences under his belt, alongside helping with numerous school events. Outside of academics, Rajeev enjoys sports, listening to music, cooking, and writing. He brings impressive teamwork and dedication to the Secretariat. His leadership style is direct and corrective: he'll scold for making a mistake and also correct them so the same mistake never occurs again. Rajeev lives by the motto: "Your actions should be louder than your words," and his vision is to ensure the event flows smoothly without any problems.

Head of OC - Aashritha Kakumanu

Mohana, our Head of OC, is interested in Maths, Science, and Social Studies. Her love for debating led her to participate in four MUNs, and she has a particular interest in Indian affairs and politics, which helps her be more active in committees. She has received a special mention and a verbal mention in previous MUNs. Outside of academics, Mohana loves sports and playing the violin. She brings strong skills in handling any kind of problem and staying strongly on her words.
