LETTER FROM THE SECRETARY-GENERAL

Dear Esteemed Delegates and Respected Faculty Advisors,

It is with immense privilege and profound honour that I extend to you this invitation to the 03rd distinguished edition of the Ambitus World School, Vijayawada, Model United Nations 2025.

This significant event is scheduled to convene on October 4th & 5th, 2025, at our esteemed institution, Ambitus World School, Vijayawada. More than merely a gathering of bright young minds, this conference serves as a pivotal platform for the articulation of diverse perspectives, the robust engagement with pressing global issues, and the cultivation of nascent leadership. We invite you to step into an environment where established norms are thoughtfully examined, innovative ideas are freely exchanged, and the leaders of tomorrow are forged.

My name is Prasanna Kakileti, and I am deeply honoured to serve as your Secretary General for this upcoming conference. My journey with Model United Nations commenced in 2022, when, as a seventh-grader, I first entered a conference as an eager yet inexperienced delegate. Since then, MUN has become an integral facet of my personal and academic development. The invaluable opportunity to serve as Under-Secretary General for two consecutive years has afforded me a comprehensive understanding of the intricate planning and dedicated effort required to bring such a conference to fruition.

Beyond the committees and resolutions of MUN, I have had the privilege of holding the distinctive position of the school prefect council and led the council for two consecutive terms. This role has been instrumental in cultivating my confidence, nurturing empathy, refining my leadership capabilities, and instilling in me the unwavering commitment to advocate for each and every one of my peers. Furthermore, I am proud to be a TEDx Speaker, an experience that profoundly empowered me to discover and amplify my voice. Academically, I find great joy in subjects such as chemistry and mathematics, and I have always championed the belief in uplifting those around me, whether within the dynamic environment of the classroom, the focused intensity of a conference, or the casual interactions in our school hallways.

Over the years, my participation in numerous MUN conferences has consistently challenged me to sharpen my analytical skills, bolster my confidence, and grow significantly, not only as a delegate but also as an individual. These formative experiences have undeniably honed and shaped my character in ways I could not have anticipated. It is my sincere hope that you, the prospective delegate, will similarly find profound personal and intellectual growth through your participation in AWS VJA MUN. Whether this marks your inaugural MUN experience or your fifth, you are poised to become part of an endeavour that thrives on meaningful communication, constructive collaboration, and the celebration of diversity.
